A lifeline of friendship

Contact the Elderly is the only national charity solely dedicated to tackling loneliness and social isolation amongst older people, through regular face-to-face contact.


Walk Well Derby

If you would like to be more active and would like to walk as a group, please come along to one or more of the Walk Well walks.  There are six different walks each week and they are free to attend and last for between 30-90 minutes.  Most people should be able to participate, as long they do not have any significant mobility problems.

The scheme aims to stop the bullying and abuse of people with learning disabilities across Derbyshire and help them feel safe and confident when out in the community
