At Appletree Medical practice we always try to give the best service possible. However, there may be times when you feel this has not happened. Most problems can be sorted out easily and quickly, often at the time they arise and with the person concerned. And this may be the approach you try first.
If your problem cannot be sorted out in this way and you wish to make a complaint, you should let us know, either verbally or in writing as soon as possible after the event and ideally, within a matter of days. This will enable us to establish what happened more easily. In any event, this should be within 12 months of the incident that caused the problem or within 12 months from when the complaint comes to your notice, giving as much detail as you can.
If you are a registered patient at Appletree you can complain about your own care. You can also complain about someone else’s treatment provided you have their written authority.
We also welcome compliments and suggestions, please feel free to send these in, either by email to: [email protected] or by putting them in the suggestions box held in the foyer of the Duffield surgery.
You can also give us feedback by completing the Friends and Family Test or practice surveys when available.
