What to do when the surgery is closed

If you need urgent medical attention when the surgery is closed you should dial 111. This will connect you to the NHS 111 service free of charge which is provided by a local organisation: Derbyshire Health United. You will be assessed and directed to the most appropriate point of care for your particular needs.

You can also dial 111 if you require health information

If you require an appointment at the surgery please contact us during normal opening hours

When should I call 999?

If you require emergency treatment for a potentially life-threatening condition you should dial 999 and ask for the ambulance service.  The following conditions are considered potentially life-threatening:

  • chest pain
  • loss of consciousness
  • breathing difficulties
  • severe loss of blood.
NEW IMPORTANT CHANGES AT APPLETREE:- Please do not visit the surgery in person without being asked to do so, you will be putting yourself and other patients at serious risk or harm. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES visit the surgery if you have a new continuous cough or fever. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE TAKEN THE DIFFICULT DECISION TO CLOSE OUR BRANCH SITE AT LITTLE EATON UNTIL FUTURE NOTICE.
