Disabled Access

The Practice is easily accessible and user-friendly for disabled and wheelchair-bound patients.

At Duffield there are designated parking spaces in the car park together with full wheelchair access to all patient areas of the Practice.

There are toilet facilities for the disabled in the waiting room.

At Little Eaton Surgery there is no wheelchair access at the front door, but you can access the surgery via the back door (there is a buzzer at the back door to alert the Receptionist).

A hearing loop is available to help the hard of hearing have clearer conversations. A portable hearing loop can be made available for use during your appointment with the clinician.  Please ask at reception.

For visually impaired patients, we offer the opportunity to have an escorted tour of the public areas of the practice to help to familiarise them with the layout of the building. Please speak to our Reception Staff, who will do their utmost to assist you.

COVID-19 VACCINATION PROGRAMME

Covid-19 Vaccinations for Appletree Patients commenced on 7th January 2021.

We are currently prioritising our workload to deliver the Covid-19 vaccination programme.  Consequently, there may be a longer wait than usual for non-essential services during this time.

If you have a non-urgent query or problem, please consider using the pharmacy, 111 or Minor Injury units for advice where possible and appropriate.

Click here for more information on how the vaccination will be rolled out Covid-19 Vaccine information page.

There is no need to contact us to book a covid vaccination; we will contact you when it is your turn to be vaccinated.  Thank you for your patience.
